a great day! almost

today was a fun, but not so fun day!! it's started out bright and early in the morning, 1 am with colton waking up every 15-30 minutes., til 4 am!! i was pissed by the time 4 rolled around, so i threw him in bed with joe and went and slept on the couch! then colton wakes up at like 9:30 for the day, which is too early for me still, bc he was up for 3 hours in the middle of the night! but i get up anyways. bake a cake, and out the door i go, to get my hair done! it's beautiful, and just how i want it now! cut and colored!! dropped colton off with his grandpa for the day, and decided that he can just stay the night over there, bc i needed a mom's night with the girls from my babies play date group!! we went out to mazatlan for some much needed margarita's and dinner, then checked out the proposal at eastpark!! it was a great movie and a lovely night!! can't wait to do it again!! but now back to reality! i have 2 more cakes to make for this weekend!! and i work at 9 am!! lovely!!

OMG Vaseline

so i go downstairs, leaving colton upstairs, to look at some engagement pictures online, so i have some ideas, when i take my aunts. i go back upstairs to find colton sitting by his highchair on the floor rubbing his head, and i look down and there is a bottle of vaseline sitting next to him practically empty. i think to myself, OMG where did he get water from, his head is all wet. then i realize it's not water! now what the hell do i do?? first thing that comes to mind, strip him and put him in the tub, it's bath time!! lol keep in mind colton HATES baths, so he's crying, bc i'm just cleaning out the tub of all of his bath toys, bc he knows what's coming next! throw him in the tub and start washing his hair!! this crap is NOT coming out!! so i wash it again, and wash him and take him out of the tub!! it's STILL not out of his hair!! now what do i do?? i think!! GOOGLE i'll go google what i should do! it tells me put corn starch in his hair then shampoo it with a clairfying shampoo! i have neither!! so now what do i do. it then says mix baking soda with baby shampoo and it should come out! well i'm NOT giving him another bath so i guess i will just have to lay him on the counter and rinse his head off in the sink!! 2 shampoos with baking soda later, and it's pretty much out of his hair! THANK GOD!! lol then to clean up the rest of the house that has vaseline all over it!! ugg
